Consumer Data Right
Australian bank connections on Vecta use the Consumer Data Right (CDR), also known as Open Banking. Data is shared only with your explicit consent, for the purposes you approve, and can be revoked at any time.
How connections work
When you link a bank, you authenticate with your institution through a regulated consent flow. Your bank credentials never touch Vecta. Data is retrieved through accredited CDR participants and partners (including Fiskil) under the applicable CDR rules and privacy safeguards.
What we request
Vecta requests view-only data needed to show balances, transactions and related account information in your dashboard and to power AI insights. We do not request permission to initiate payments or transfer funds.
Your rights
You can withdraw CDR consent at any time through Vecta or your bank’s consent management tools. After withdrawal, we stop collecting new data from that institution and handle retained data in line with our privacy policy and deletion controls.
Contact
CDR and consent questions: contact@vectapp.io. Detailed CDR representative notices will be published as our accreditation and partner arrangements are finalised for launch.
